Injection Site

I started Rebif in January on the titration pack, everything was good, minimal side effects. Ive been up to 44s for a while now and I have just started getting some site reactions. Not every time, my belly and thighs seem to be more reactive.
Until about 5 minutes ago I thought they were limited to red, tender spots and bruising but now I have found an area on my thigh that appears to have a large (3 inch?) knot deep under the skin. It doesnt hurt, Its not red, but it is pretty solid.

Anyone had this issue before, think I should go see my GP, or just try to rub it out?
Thanks

Have you called the MS Life Lines? I call the MS Life Lines for any questions that I have and the nurses seem to be really knowledgeable.  Is this from a shot that you just did?  I self injected one time to see if I could do it and had a knot right after but it was gone by the next day.  I also get red welts two days after my shots and they seem to last for about a week. My thighs get the worst sight reactions.  One time I hit a vein and had a black and blue mark for about two weeks.  I called my Neuro and he said that can be normal and not give a shot there until after the buise is gone. Me Neuro also told me to call if I had any weird sight reactions.  So I would probably call your neuro before your GP.

I just talked to a life lines nurse yesterday, before I noticed the big knot. I had mentioned to her the other reactions and she said the usual talk to your doctor. This isnt from a shot I have just done recently because I have been avoiding my thighs and using arms and buttocks instead.

Im not super worried about it because there arent any signs of infection, no bruising, no anything really except that i can feel the knot under the skin. If it wasnt so large I likely wouldnt have noticed it at all.

I guess I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else? If its something that I can expect to happen regularly?
