Thats great,
I pick my new mobilty car up friday i will be able to drive after a year (if i'm well enough) been adapted, it will be such freedom to just jump in the car and go to my friends or church when i want i wont be trapped in the house any more.
You get out and about.

Yes! Not only that the did a great job, but because I have my wheels back. I don't drive that much, but not having my car did make me feel a bit like a bird with it's wings clipped!
Today I can drive to physical therapy and stop and pick up some groceries on the way home. Last week I had a rental car for a couple days (good friend rented it for me), but it just wasn't the same.
:o)

It is so nice to hear some good news! Good for you and it sounds like they did a really good job! Aaaaah - big sigh of relief, huh?
I'm so happy to have my little car back! I'm happy you got a car to love, too, terry!
db, I don't think the insurance is settled yet; I had to pay my $500 deductible. I talked to my agent a couple of days ago, and he was going to contact the adjustor. It's still possible that I may get my $500 back.
This car was my very first brand new car; I paid cash with some of the money that my dad left me when he passed away. I bought it in 2004, and have just over 25,000 miles on it. Obviously, its really special to me, though I really don't drive much.
Still smiling,
Kathy
That must be a relief. Is the insurance stuff with the other driver settled yet?
CONGRATS! I can hear the smile in your words.
PS I know how you feel. Last month I got a new car...it is used but very sweet.
Did I tell you I love my car?
Smiling with you
terry
