Hi all,

Nothing too much this week.  Husband was working out of town yesterday in New York, so I watched a movie.

Today, I am just trying to work (homebased medical transcriptionist), but cannot get motivated.......

bye....

To the PCP this afternoon to see if she's happy with how the generic replacement for one of my BP meds is doing its job.  I had tried to go down to one medicine, but that didn't work, so she added the new one by phone.  Even though it's generic, it's still over $60 a month.  The two generics together total $90+ on my new QHDHP.

I haven't taken my own BP or got on the scale since.  I am quite certain one of those numbers is going to be disappointing.  My meager weight loss hadn't allowed me to get by on one drug, so I got a what the heck attitude about it.  Sigh.  Maybe the "don't look at the digital readout on the scale" method of denial will keep my embarrassment about the weight from affecting the blood pressure.  If the nurse doesn't tell me what it is.  Of course, if I have to say "don't tell me," that will start the whole blushing/pressure raising bit anyway.  Must begin the slow breathing and meditating thing as soon as I hit the front door of the building.

i made it back to the gym a few weeks ago working my way up to ~45min-1hr mild weight work out.

Today's my birthday, and i forgot (lol) I knew it was soon but lost what day of the week we where at. So now i've got to try and remember that i'm now 46 and i've just got use to saying i'm 45, ROFL!

I vacuumed DS bedroom and lost my legs for a few days, still dealing with wobbly wobbly legs and no energy but will have to pull a rabbit out of my hat because it seems everyone is coming over for dinner, not good if the birthday girl is still in her jarmies lol

Nothing else is happening, still need to get DS ready for his assessment tests in a few weeks, still having trouble writing an essay, by the time he gets in his mind what he wants to write he's out of time. Open to any tips, tricks or magic potions to get him there in time?!

Hope everyone has a good week!

Cheers...JJ
