That's exactly how I feel! I just want to know what is wrong so that I know what to do about it!
Alex,
As far as meds are concerned,I don't take them anymore than I absolutely have to! My neuro is good;I feel confident he'll find the problem.
dianeadelle,
Yeah,it's not like I'm a hypochondriac;wishing for attention by suddenly "having some terrible disease"! When I was first diagnosed with Fibro, articles were saying that it was an autoimmune disease, but that it didn't cause the deteriation that MS does, even though the symptoms are so similar.Now,12 yrs later, articles say it's NOT autoimmune, and while articles say there isn't deteriation, patients often end up in wheelchairs and power scooters and have little quality of life!
It's a mind game after a while for me. Your glad your MRI is normal but you still don't gave an answer. Mine was normal to but still having all The same trouble with balance problems I also having fibromalgia when it's bad there not much I can do but rest. Hope you get some answers
Have you tried a pain clinic? I researched and went to the best in town. They deal with all kinds of conditions but concentrate on pain relief. For years I suffered needlessly or I was on so many drugs I was a Zhombie. Today I took both of my Service Dogs in training on long walks.
Alex
"The Good news is you don't have MS. The bad news is you don't have MS."
At least then you'd know how to fight back :-) I hope you find answers soon.
Kyle
Well, I guess that good news and bad news! Good that your neuro doesn't think it's MS but bad that you still don't know what to call all the awful stuff you are dealing with. I think this is your second neuro? Not sure if I am remembering correctly.
Thanks for updating. Hoping you begin to feel better soon.
