still waiting diagnosis

hi everyone sorry i have been so distant lately i have not been feeling that great. anyways have some news to share with you all as you know i am still waiting for the results of my l.p. i think this is way to long to be waiting my appt. i snot until sept.28. anyways i have been exercising and losing weight. so my gp wanted to check my blood pressure to see if it had improved and it was high. so he asked if i could go check it everyday,he also sent me for lab tests. anyways for the next week i got continous high reading on the bp. went back to see the dr. who told me my tsh is 0.01 thinks i am hyperthyroid then orders more blood tests anti thyroid peroxidase 288 free t4 77. so now i dont know what to think he put me on a med for the bp. but gives me chest pain and i feel ill i keep getting dizzy i feel like i am not getting the blood to my brain properly. i am a mess.

Sounds like you have having a tough time. I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Maybe the gp will have answers for you and be able to work out a good set of medicines to help you by the time your neuro appt. finally comes along.

It sounds like a long wait but it's less than a month now so with everything that you have been going through it should come quick. The more the gp is able to do before you get to the neuro the better you will be both from a dx stand point and a healthier you.

Hang in there it sounds like you are in the home stretch of getting answers and feeling better too. Thinking of you!

Hugs,
Erin :)
