Lying down and feeling like your head is pounding

the last couple nights when I go to bed, as soon as I lay my head down my head and face start pulsating,,,,
last night it was real bad, then pain started shooting up both sides in the back of my head, of course I couldnt sleep but I swear a time or two I thought I was going to black out....but If I sit up or walk about you can feel it just not as bad....do you think I could be from my cysts in my spine????  It was very scary last night, I almost woke my husband up and went to the ER....
Would blockage of fluid do this....

My recommedation for ANY new headache that is persistent is to have it checked by your doctor.  I can't think of what it might be.  Sinus headaches are often worse when you lie down.  But, this needs to be checked out.  It is a rule in medicine.

Could there be a possibility that you have a bad sinus infection?  This sounds like the same symptoms I had.  Just a thought...

Hope you feel better and I think you should make an appointment with your doctor in any case.  Better to know than to lay there every night and suffer.

All the Best,
Heather
