For thexample past 6 months I have been seeing a neurologist for what I would explain as nerve pain.  In my left arm, I get pain from my Elbow through my finger tips.  Some times my hand gets tingly also.  I now also get pain and discomfort on the bottoms of my feet.  Almost like a Charlie horse or cramping.  It is worse when I sit.  I get pain in my right arm and hand also but not as often.  I have had 2 mri's, nerver and muscle tests on my legs and arms.  MRI's came back clear, nerve and muscle tests showed that there was some abnormalities but nothing concrete enough to say it was or wasn't ms or fibro. Or anything else.  I have been taking neurontin, which helps for the most part, but I am not a fan of the side effects.  So I guess my question after all of this is, could this be ms that isn't showing yet or something else.  I am frustrated that I don't have any answers, and when I get the pain and weakness, it is so frustrating.  It's not the worst pain that I have ever had, but it is there all day.  I apologize for the lengthy post, but apprecise any feedback anyone has to offer.

Thanks for the response kyle. Carpal tunnel has been excluded and blood work has been done to check for disease, so I don't know what other peripheral conditions it could be, but I will definitely ask him about that. I go back in march.  He suggested occupational therapy, but I have not started.  I don't have symptoms every day, so I didn't really think it would do much.  I have read so many different stories about it taking years and a lot of test and medical bills some times to get a correct diagnosis.  I guess I am curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Hi KAD - Welcome to the group.

Clear MRIs and abnormal Nerve conduction studies makes me think that something is going on with you peripheral nervous system. This would exclude MS, as MS attacks the central nervous system. When are you seeing the neurologist again?

Kyle
