It makes me angry as she thinks she is so smart

I was at my computer and turned on the TV nearby. I came in on the middle of the Judge Judy show which I don't like anyway. I think she treats people very badly. Added to this now is a real dislike and disgust for her ignorance. There was a couple in front of her arguing about something or other.  The Judge asked the wife, "so what disability do you have that you can't do.... (whatever it was the court case was about). The wife replied "I have Multiple Sclerosis".    Word for word the Judge said  "you look perfectly fine to me" - and she thinks she is so smart!

Whoa...that is downright unacceptable for someone who is supposedly "educated" and holds the fates of peoples lives in her hands!  What a bozo and she really displayed her ignorance this time didn't she!  I have never thought she was a very appealing person all along but this just puts the cherry on the sundae doesn't it?  Maybe there is a case of "discrimination against the good judge" here?  What do you think?

Judge Judy is guilty of that sort of behavior - this isn't the first time she blew off somebody's illness with a poorly thought out comment.

Which is why I love the phrase 'Judge Judy and Executioner!'

Sandy pointed out on another forum that the woman who had MS was evidently a scammer.  I haven't seen the episode, so I don't know.  I do know that having a disease doesn't make you a better person!  Sometimes it's the reverse.
