I guess that I should have added that this too was my "First" Walk.
I too had organized a team and (2) of the teamsters were my (2) little
granchildren ages (4, and 2). they had a lot of fun :)
SG40: I also have to admit that I did some of that "Bench Walking"
as I was having some B/P problems that morning.
Lulu: I too think that it is great that we are putting in an effort to
help and find a cure for this MiSerable disease. even if you are not able to walk (which there are many who can not), we can always make a small donation. I am on Face Book and have say 50 friends.........If all of those FB Friends donated JUST $5.00 ...........think about it ;)

Our local walk is April 17 - and I am anxious for the date to get here. With the help of our local alumni group, I have organized a walk team in honor of our former president, who has lived with MS since 1989. So far there are almost 40 people on our team. :-)
Good for all of us to get off our duffs and try to do something positive! BTW this is also my first walk.
be well, be active,
Lulu
We did the Walk here in Central Florida about a week ago. I was too bad off to walk - but I did sit on a bench in the park (where the walk started) while my family and friends walked. We called mine the bench-walk. It was my first - I hope to be able to actually WALK in it next year. It was still a wonderful experience, and felt great doing something for our cause.
Your very welcome..
You will have a "Wonderful Time" and meet some awesome people.
I will be waiting for you to share your experience with me :)
