Newbie...any advice?

I have had Raynauds for the past 7 years and now over the past 12 months, I have had a buzzing sensation( like a electic stem pad) on my left shoulder blade. These past 4 weeks it has spread thru my back and neck and is now going down arms and down my side. I feel it almost continuously. I work for a chiropractor and he seems puzzled. A year ago when this started, he suggested that I take a B12 supplement which I have been taking faithfully. I had blood taken yesterday to make sure I am not defienciant in any vitamins or minerals. Next step will be an MRI. Anyone have advice for me?

It sounds like you could use a really good evaluation by a neurologist- a complete neuro exam would help to see what symptoms you describe are connected to CNS processes and what might be vascular.

It would be unusual for MS to present with this problem down both arms - not impossible, but still unusual.

I hope you come back through and ask yoru questions and keep us posted on your progress.
best, Lulu

I had Raynauds that mysteriously went away after I started treatment for MS.  I am not saying that is your problem but do think Raynauds is often given when a vascular surgeon doesn't have another reason.  Sort of like a neuro that picks anxiety, depression, stress or conversion disorder when they can't find another reason.

I think you are on the right track in getting an MRI.  I hope it was ordered by a neuro.  Also it is smart to make sure a neuroradiologist reads it.

Keep us posted.
