Hi Roxann - Welcome to our group.
I would be more inclined to address these symptoms with your neurologist ratgher than your PCP. As ess said, NSAIDs are not effective when trying to combat inflammation caused by MS. MS inflammation responds to steroids administered in large doses (1,000mg/day for 5 days). the only thign Neurontin will help with is nerve pain. It is not likely to have any effect on muscle weakness.
Have you discussed your symptoms with your neurologist?

Goodness, I hope your doctor didn't seriously call your condition 'noodle leg.' That's so far from funny.
Are you being treated for MS by a primary care doctor? If so, why? It sounds as if your symptoms are making your life unmanageable, and all you are given is Mobic, an nsaid with a bad side effect profile, and Neurontin? For MS, nsaids rarely work, except to help with pain caused only secondarily. For instance, if you favor one leg, the other may get overworked, with sore muscles or worse symptoms, but there's nothing really happening with it that helping the ailing leg wouldn't fix. As to the Neurontin, very possibly your dosage isn't high enough. Did you know that up to 3600 mg/day is safe?
I think you need assessment by a physical therapist, who is likely to have you fitted with some sort of leg brace, and to help you with other issues. I also think you need a decent doctor, a neuro specializing in MS. Are you on one of the MS disease-modifying drugs? I urge everyone to do this if at all possible. I hope you're getting regular MRIs.
