I just remembered something... on my MRI two years ago my neuro said that one of my Sphenoid Sinuses seemed filled with fluid (I know that is a strange sinus to get fluid in), so maybe that was the blood clotting? I had no cold or virus at that time (not even for a long time). So that must be it..
Thank you all, yeah ofcourse it must be something like that. But I never remember feeling like I have a "dry problem" but even though, it must have been something that clotted up in a sinus or somewere "up there" and then one day "decided" to burst :). This has not happened for a while now, so I don´t really need to worry about it. I just had to get these thoughts out of my mind. Thank you!
My best to you all,
Dagun
I have too agree with Sarah ad Alex. Blood from the nose is from the nose and not from the brain unless you have a severe skull fracture. Clotted blood can certainly look like a piece of liver and MS does not cause nosebleeds.
I would have to think that the nosebleeds and neurologic symptoms are not related to each other.

What you pulled out what just clotted blood. Alex's advice about saline gel is very good.
It is possible you have gotten your nose very dry, are dehydrated, or are in a dry climate/area of your house.
When I worked in ER, we would tell pts to blow their nose, which as you found out, would clear the problem.
I often get nose bleeds, sometimes because of sinus problems, or dry conditions in the house.
I doubt you would be bleeding from your brain or that MS caused the nose bleed.
I have never heard of Nose bleeds with MS. It could be possible I am not a doctor. I get nose bleeds from dry sinuses. I have to put gel saline in my nose.
