Numbness increasing

For the past year I have experience numbness on my left side, normally my leg, trunk, arm and face.  Lately I have my whole face is numb especially my lips and around my eye sockets.  Today, my left breast and my chest up to my throat is numb.  That has never happened before.  I called my Specialist and left a message.  Not sure what good that will do.
I can't feel my throat.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I haven't experienced this before so I can't comment except to say if you are having any trouble breathing or swallowing you need to go the ER.

Since we use the same docs I left you a note about contacting the specialist.

I contacted Dr. L.  I told them that my left breast was numb and above my chest to my neck.  I am not having problems swallowing, it is just weird not to feel my neck.

Feels like I swallowed novacaine.

If it gets worse, then I will take my butt to the ER.
