I Know You all Have Been Anticipating...

Minnie's pared down version of her symptom timeline ;)  HOW in the world was she going to take that wordy mess and condense it enough so the doctor's eyes wouldn't glaze over???

Well, alas, I have it to one page and it is short, sweet, and to the point.  So, for those of you who have been holding your breath in anticipation...here goes!  I hope this will help others.  :)  Hugs to you all and thank you for reading/responding.

Top Three Problems (Life Impact):
• Vision – Very uncomfortable about driving at night or unfamiliar places; drive to and from work or very short distances.
• Unsteadiness – Several falls within the last two years; stumble a lot when I walk for no apparent reason; unable to walk on treadmill.
• Fatigue- exhausted by early afternoon- must take nap. Exercise decreased from 1 hour to 15 min. Social outings cut back (ex: didn't attend any Titans games in 2012; previously attended all since 2002).

2012

• R leg weakened; almost fell off of treadmill
June

• Blurry/double vision; referred to Ophthalmologist in October
• R arm feels “asleep”
• Sharp pain in jaw/R side of face; lasted four days

Excellent editing. While we are in the diagnostic phase we tend to think every little twitch is related and significant. They may be, but docs are human too :-) They can lose sight of the forest for the trees.

Keeping the discussion focused on a Big 3 makes things more manageable. If the docs want more detail they'll ask :-)
