Thank you
I'm waiting for a reply from my neuro I emailed him yesterday, I thought he would be the best person to ask.

In my experience with damaged peripheral nerves, like we're talking about, the numbness did change to a very painful, hypersensitive feeling with soft touch. In my injury the painful sensitivity improved to a weird tingly feeling, and then slwoly became normal.
What I am saying is that the change from numb to painfully sensitive is a good thing.
In my injury, which was somewhere near my shoulder, the nerve healed except for the very end. 5 years later one of my fingers, right along the side, still has that painful sensitivity like it is mildly burned.
I would still recommend that you see a doctor SOON, especially because it seems to have affected the muscles in the right arm. Okay?

It was the sat just before that I mentioned, I still have numbness in both armpits but now one of them is really sensitive to touch and painful as it rubs on my clothes. My right arm is worse and I cant lift things as well as I could with it.

I was a little unsure if the drunk/armpit dragging/numbness was from a couple years ago or just the Saturday before you posted on Friday.
If you were just recently dragged by your armpits, your friends did you no favors. When someone is carried this way and they are pretty limp (dead weight) the brachial nerve (the major nerve to the arm which passes thru the armpit) can be stetched and damaged. This can result in numbness and even arm weakness until the nerve heals.
It usually does heal, but if the nerve was too damaged, it may not be able to heal. It is now 10 days later (I presume). If your arms are not improving, you should see a neurologist for nerve testing. Sometimes the nerves can be surgically repaired.
I do not think this is related to your MS. Don't wait to long to get it checked!
BTW - I cannot drink do to the nasty way it makes me feel with my vertigo.

I can tell you right now that MS and alcohol do not mix. Trust me on this one. You already have nerve problems because of the MS and when the alcohol mixes in with those weird nerves they can do some crazy things that may not go away. This is how my neuro explained it to me.
I'm a strong in my faith christian woman but I never thought a drink after dinner was bad for you but once I got MS I learned very quickly that I could no longer do it.
I'll be praying,
Carol
