I'm interested Quix in what could cause the feeling of weakness without really being weak. I often feel weak (especially in the legs) and like I am fighting to maintain balance but when the docs test for strength they seem satisfied.
I've been trying to build my endurance as I walk the dog one or two times a day. It's been over four months and I just don't seem to be able to increase my stamina. Before I hit a mile I'm widening my base and not walking straight.
Sometimes after a shower I have to support the elbow of the arm that is brushing my teeth with my other hand. I can do a flight of stairs but barely and my legs feel like rubber. Sometimes my knees feel like they will buckel but haven't yet. And I'm gone to shoes with a cut back sole at the toe so I trip less often.
Opinions welcome. Thanks
~Mary

thanks for ur post
Hi, and welcome. It is hard to say what the problem with your shaking is. It sound like you might have a tremor when using your muscles. Do they feel weak or are they really weak. You can tell this by seeing if you are able to do the same things you used to be able to do. Can you run, climb stairs, squat?
It is far too early to tell if any of these symptoms might be MS. I have never heard of it beginning with whole body shaking. You need a lot more testing (neurologic and maybe MRI) before anyone can talk about MS. My gut feeling is "no", but I really don't have enough info to say even that.
Yes, feeling shaky all over can be from anxiety. Do you often have a problem with anxiety?
