The important thing is that you are seeing a doc and working through the testing process. It always takes waaay longer than we think it should going into it. I remember my diagnosis process. I kept showing up for appointments expecting an answer, but the doc just kept sending me out for more tests. I waiting over 4 months for an answer, and many, many people wait even longer.
I know it's hard to stay calm and not worry, but try to remember that even if you do have MS, it's a disease that moves really slowly so a few months won't really make a difference. If your symptoms are rapidly progressing now, that doesn't mean they won't slow down or even start to heal in the next few months.
It's tough to be patient, but remember that we are here for you to answer questions and provide support. Read the "Health Pages" in the right column of our website, and learn as much as you can about MS and any other disorder/disease that might be causing your symptoms. That will help to reduce the anxiety you're feeling and prepare you to be an active participant in the diagnostic process.
Good luck and best wishes,
Jane
