About 3 or 4 times, this Summer, I have experienced great pain in my quadriceps and hamstrings, of both legs, as a result of leaning over (picture trying to touch your toes), for a long period of time. Like pulling weeds or catching grasshoppers (for my bearded dragons), using results in this pain, the next day.
About 4 days ago, I began having difficulty walking, because the "upper half" (quadriceps) of my legs felt like they were made out of a ton of lead, and the lower half made of sticks.
Well, yesterday, I had the same feeling, as before, extreme pain in my quadriceps, on a scale of 1 to 10, a 9.5.
This makes it extremely difficult and painful attempting to walk. [Note: The 3/4 times it happened this Summer, it usually went away after a day or two.]
However, none of those occurances were as painful as this. The act of sitting down (ex. to use the "facilities"), is extremely painful. The pain seems to emanate from the bones to the skin (if you know what I mean).
I'm not sure, this is a possible symptom of MS or not.
But I can tell you, I have done basically no "standing on my head" pulling weeds, etc. I have been staying inside (with temps in the 100+ range), and either working using a computer (sitting down), or watching TV (laying down).
So, I don't have anything to explain this painful symptom, MS related or not.
I pray all is well, with you and yours.
