My family and I often get a laugh . . . no matter what my error . . . blame falls on those "blasted lesions!" If we have to live with them - might as well use them to our advantage :o]
While a little dairy would come in handy, it's a lot of work. You might also want to maintain a little diary. It's gonna be one of those days, lol. Q
Sally nailed the purpose. It is a little less important once you have the diagnosis, but sometimes in the future we might all face a new situation in which the entire history of our illness will be needed. A new neuro taking over our care who doesn't have the time to read our whole chart, a new treatment that requires people with a certain course, a procedure or study.
If nothing else, maintain a little dairy. Who knows maybe someday you'll write a book.

Hi Sherry,
it can still be a useful exercise, particularly if you want to track how things are going. Write a history / timeline as well as you can remember it, and then add to it if any other symptoms develop or your situation changes.
This could be part of your personal medical records. Keep copies of all tests, notes of Dr. visits (if appropriate), etc.
Could also be useful if you change dr. in the future.
Everyone regardless of whether they have a condition or not should keep a copy of their own medical records in one place...
Best wishes,
Sally
