Angel, have you had any IVs inserted? I looked around, and I think what I was looking at before was... Superficial thrombophlebitis. Basically a vein is inflamed and causing swelling in the arm.
This doesn't mean that that's the problem in your case. Definitely go to the doctor and see what's going on!
Thank you for caring. I don't think it is anything to serious. I don't have fever and nothing on my arm hurts. it just comes and goes. I am going to my mothers house. she lives four hours away and she is trying to get me into her doctors office Friday.
I am pretty sure that I will make it there ok. If I have trouble driving I will make my son take over.
Thank you it feels nice to have somewhere to find support and people who care.

i really think that if you can't get in to your doctors, you should go to the er, or a urgent care.have you taken your temp? could you be feverish?if so, that is not good either.
and what about how it feels to touch under your arm, does it hurt, not good either.
i just feel very concerned for you.and before you'd head on such a journey, you should make sure your well enough.I wouldn't
want to end up half way from nowhere having to seek help suddenly'
i wish you the best, and will look for your report back soon.
Thanks for trying. I will try looking up the same info and see if I can find the same.
Leave it to me to come up with such a weird problem.
Thank you
Angel
I seem to remember a condition in the feet that involves them swelling and turning red, rather like a circulation problem. I found it while looking for information on lesions and the location of parts of the brain. Sorry that I can't remember more!
Thanks for the warm wishes. I don't know what it s but it never last long so I guess that is a plus.
thanks again.
Angel
I'm so sorry your not feeling well. Cold to the touch, sounds like circulation problem. Who knows. Sending you hugs and warm wishes for you to feel better. Have a safe trip, and may God protect you and keep you safe.

I am having trouble typing because of my arm. I was wondering if anyone ever had anything close to this happen. I can not see my doctor until after Easter. I also have a four hour drive ahead of me this weekend. I know that my legs will go numb and I am used to that, but does anyone have any ideas on what I can do for my arm( I am right handed).
Thanks in advance
Angel
I hate to be a baby and call the doctor for every little thing. I guess if it keeps doing it I will.
My arm will swell and it is cold to the touch also feels a little numb.I will get a slight cramp like feeling in my hand. It really doesn't hurt much just kind of weird. I am not sure of what cellulitis is. Does any of this sound like it?
Thank you for responding.
Angel
Hello:
Could the symptom of what you describe be cellulitis? Is you arm red and warm to the touch? Possibly a new symptom, or just a different medical event.
Either way, you should seek medical attention if this persists.
