My Gawd...She Did it!!!

Hey all...I think that Ada's Birthday is a lucky day and I hope it is for everyone!

You won't believe it and I am still sitting here with my chin down to my knees in disbelief!!!

One of the receptionists from my lgp's office just called to tell me that my lgp filled out the form for CPP and that SHE HERSELF called the case worker I am dealing with at CPP and got a fax number from her and SHE HERSELF faxed the completed form to my case worker directly!  Talk about leaving it to the last friggin minute (it was due today by 5:00 NL time) and it's now 3:00p.m. in Newfoundland,  but she ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO DO!!!  Now all I have to do is wait to hear from CPP!

I can at least breathe a sigh of relief that I don't have to start all over again cause if I had to do that it would have gotten rather ugly!

So, now to wait to hear from the government...who knows how long that will take but I am hoping not too long!  I have been without an income for 17 months now and when I lost my job last year I was making mighty fine money so it was a big loss for our household.  Keep your fingers crossed for me now will ya that CPP will approve my claim?

Ok...so now we wait to see what the government has to say...they already told me that I was eligible for what I have paid in and that I applied in time etc. but that the info from the dr. would tell them the rest...I can't see it taking too long considering all the other work is done but then again...we'll see and I will let you know as soon as I do!

Thanks for all the support everyone showed me throughout this whole CPP ordeal...now I just ask for you to keep the limbs crossed for a little longer for luck so that accept my application and I will be covered!  Thanks!

Will wonders never cease! Thank the Lord! I can get up off my knees now. It was very uncomfortable, especially with all my fingers, arms, and legs crossed, LOL. Finally, what a relief this must be for you. I thought I heard a big sigh of relief from somewhere, and now I know where from!  Hopefully they won't take forever to hear your case. What is the average waiting time for a decision? You should be able to find out on the CCP website.

Good things seem to be happening recently. The power of prayer at work! I hpe you are feeling as well as can be expected, and not experiencing any more "sunny" problems. Take care of yourself. What is your next step on this road? More drs? or More just waiting? Thinking of you, and praying for the best.
