Do I have ms?

Hi. I'm a 30yr old male. A few weeks ago I started to have some general pain in my rear end, specifically when I 'clenched' and during sexual activity. I didnt think anything of it. Gradually after about a week the soreness became tingling and generalized in my butt cheeks and legs. I thought I had sciatica. Then the pain moved to my upper body, my right arm went numb around the top and near the hand, and the right side of my face went numb. This persisted for about couple days but usually got worse at the end of the day when I was tired. The sensations continued to change. Eventually my right arm was numb but also in general pain. A week later, most of my pain is gone except for some pain in my spine between my shoulder blades, and pins and needles all over my body including my face. I saw my doctor this morning and she said it sounded like an MS attack. Could this be MS?

Alex, welcome to the forum.

The symptoms could be MS or another neurologic issue.  Has your doctor referred you to a Nuerologist?  Has he scheduled and MRI of your brain and spine?  As far as visual issues, only some People with MS (PwMS) have vision issues.  Many do not.  It is pretty important that they get you in to see a neurologist and get the MRI.

Hello welcome. Is your Doctor sending you to a neurologist or doing any tests? MS is a tricky diagnosis with many things like MS. If she thinks it might be MS she may send you to a Neurologist who specializes in MS. You may get in quickly or it might take awhile. She may treat symptoms in the mean time. Try to take it one step at a time although that is not easy.

Also, I've had no visual problems recently but I have had hearing loss over the last couple years.
