Sudden loss of arm use?

Hi all,
Most of my sx are on my left side, but today I have had intense muscle/tendon sensations on my right side....like severe twitching that is beyond the norm. It almost feels like my tendons/muscles are tightening, then releasing, then repeating that pattern over and over again.

I ignored this (as I do so many sx) until my right arm/hand went numb tonight.  I can use it, but not very well.

Is it normal to get hit hard, so quickly like this on one side of the body? It is like I am losing my right side in a 24 hour period.

My thoughts are with you tonight, I can imagine how scary the loss of arm
strength must be.  Please go to the ER is necessary, worry about the bill later.  Your health is much more important.

Thanks. I know I should be seen, but frankly, I am drowning in medical bills from all of this, and the thought of one more bill is overwhelming.

Sudden symptoms are definitely possible with MS. You'll probably want to notify your neuro about this when he's in the office next. But please also consider the possibility that it could be unrelated to MS. What you describe sounds neurological to me, but one sided symptoms could also feasibly be related to a stroke or a heart problem. I'm just saying that it is important to consider all possibilities so as to not miss an opportunity to reach out to the ER for help if it is needed.

Best,
Jane

I was called and told I must come in to discuss my results, which suggests they found something. He told me that he would diagnose me if he found one more lesion....I see my doc again next Wednesday. He told me they need to discuss meds, etc. I cannot believe how fast my arm is just gone.
