Surgery again, Cervical Fusion

It;s Looking like mid October for surgery,  C5, C4, C3,  what scares  me is that my two spinal cord lesions  are  at C3.

Any one have this surgery & spinal cord lesion?

If you saw any of Pics  of me, I'm rather a big  guy , and over time I lost my neck.   How will the ever find the place to slice and cut and drill and insert the plates?

My Neuro Surgeon,  has  operated on my Lumbar twice, and I first saw  after the first Neuro wasn't  sure what was going on,   when the brain lesion first appear and  they thought it may cancer...   He is perplexed  why my MS Neuro  hasn't given any DMD'S.     He says it MS..
Yet my DX  remains R.I.S. from my MS Neuro

I was also told they would use a Cadaver bones, so I asked the Dr if he use bone from a comedian,  because I could always use another  Funny Bone..

I'm very worried, and concerned for my wife.. I'll be ok in time...

take care
JB

I had 3 surgeries (cadaver with instrumentation) both posterior and anterior from C3 - C5, but because I was considered "high risk" after the first one not taking, I had to wear a cervical bone growth stimulator.  I was a difficult case as well with other medical problems to complicate things.

I don't know what state or country you are in, but my surgeon does surgeries on diplomats/presidents around the world and is on top of things.  Feel free to PM me.

So there you are.... glad to see you come around about the same time as me.  :-)

i know your wife doesn't want you worrying about her - she is doing enough worrying for both of you.  those surgeons do miraculous things and I have every confidence this one will be just right for you.

as for the neuro, you have heard me say many more times than once.... too bad he has all those credentials but not a lick of sense when it comes to diagnosis.  Change doctors and get this done.... please.

I seem to have lost my funny bone lately, perhaps some cadaver has it.

This is all going to be good, you just have to wait a short while longer.
hugs, Laura
