Hi and welcome,
I think you might be assuming your MRI is abnormal and your research trying to work out what it could mean is causing you unnecessary distress....breath!
If you mean you have 1 'parietal' white matter lesion and nothing else, it's highly possible your brain MRI is actually normal because it's not abnormal to have 1 or more non specific white matter lesion(s) in the frontal lobes.
IF the lesion was described as having 'mass effect' it could be of some significance in size though not necessarily relating to MS, because the lesion was described as "with minimal mass effect" i think your going to find it basically means the lesion is very small and or within normal limits.
MS is going to be on your list of potential causes because of the symptom type and symptom pattern, as well as being female and your age group BUT your brain MRI results wouldn't put MS at the top of your list and further tests will be needed before you do have a better idea of what could be causing this. Keep in mind that MS is only 1 medical explanation for many different types of symptoms, it genuinely might not be a neurological condition like MS, so try if you can to not become too focused on any specific medical condition at this stage of your testing...
Hope that helps.........JJ
This is a great forum and you will get some good answers from very experienced people. However, I wanted to reassure you that it does NOT mean you have MS. I had a similar problem a few years ago and have NOT been diagnosed with MS even though I do have some brain lesions. My neurologist told me the lesions could be from the migraines, vasculitis, or even insomnia. Cleveland Clinic should do testing and you will hopefully get some answers from them. Good luck to you!
Forgot to mention, I've also been having twitching of my head off and on through the day.
