HI Quix. I just wanted to tell you that you got through to Craig the other day. He came home and was telling me about muscle atrophy and how he wants to avoid it as much as possible, He and I are aggressively stretching his calf muscles by putting his foot one at a time in a 90 degree angle and pushing on the ball of his foot. He has alot of clonus and his calf muscles are really fighting back as I stretch them but after awhile is legs and feet feel so much better. If we stretch them for about 20 minutes, then even his back spasms go way down in severity.,
So he was able to work this morning in no pain. He just made a mistake and decided to go to a store to shop for a TV during lunch. Bad idea as his legs and back went into spasms all over again. But we are going to try and do the stretching three times a day. Things are slowly starting to sink in and he is gradually coming to terms with things, but the emphasis is on "gradually".
