Lemtrada News

Attaching a link that hit FB this morning.  It features MY neurologist, Dr. Chris LaGanke!! in Cullman, AL.

He wants to put me on this but isn't pressuring me.  You have to be off of Tysabri for 3 months before you can start it and I would have to stay down there for the week, so certainly have to save up for that!

It's a great article and happy to share it.

And I'm feeling back to normal, now that CPAP is covering the night shift for me.

Sounds promising. The FDA just okayed a new drug called a PARP inhibitor for a few women with a certain ovarian cancer. I fit the profile if my next CT scan shows cancer.

I tell people not to give up on treatment for MS or cancer  because new drugs come out all the time. When I was diagnosed with MS in 2009 there were 7 drugs for MS and no pills.

I was ready to do a clinical trial with this drug where I could have gotten the drug or a placebo. I was not feeling good about that since I went through going 60 times to the hospital and found out I was on the placebo.

Now I do not have to worry about the placebo.

I am so happy there are more MS drugs. I have so much hope for slowing MS progression.

Grapevine says they are scheduled all the way to March of 2016 already, wow, guess it will be awhile before I see him to find out if he is going to let me take it.
