Totally off topic - Spelling Bee

Good morning all.  The regional spelling bee was held here yesterday.  The student who won and moves on to the big Scripps Howard Bee in Washington DC survived to be the last one standing when his competitor failed to spell the following word correctly -

QUIXOTIC

It gave me a chuckle this morning to think all of us here could be champions if only we were given the right word!!!

my best, Lulu

Love it!!

That's why I always sign off as Quix.  I can't spell Quixotic.

Thanks, Lulu.

Smiling.  I have never been a great speller but I could get close enough to figure it out.  Now there are days it just doesn't happen because I can't figure out where to begin. :(

I used to be a champion speller too - and I can still spell, I just can't type. :-)

Awesome.  I was a spelling champion in my better days, but lately I've been reluctant to mention it.  Whenever I do a list of symptoms, whether for a post, an e-mail to family, or for another doctor visit, I keep leaving something out.  Brain fog ought to be pretty high on the list every time.  I am forcing myself to become a more careful proofreader, because my spelling, typing, and other communication skills aren't quite so confident these days.

I know how to spell Quixotic, but I keep adding a "1" on the end of it!
