Do you take vitamin D3?
What is the favorable dose of this vitamin to fight against MS?
Which supplement(s) do you take in related MS?

Hi there.

I take (I believe) 5,000 IU of Vit D3 ( I would have to double check that on my bottle).

There's an article written by the MS society:

http://www.nationalmssociety.org/Research/Research-News-Progress/Vitamin-D

Take a look at what they have written.

There is no consensus yet within the MS community on the dose of Vitamin D3.  I believe I saw that there is a study beginning in the USA to try to discover just that.

In my DD case, the doctor began her on 50,000 units Vit D2 once a week, then switched her after a few weeks to 4,000/daily Vit D3.  Once her blood work showed high Vit D levels (73?), she cut my daughter down to 2,000/day Vit D3.  New levels were drawn last month, we had not heard results, and have yet to be told to change the dose.

I'm prescribed 10,000 iu per day, though as I'm running low right now I've  been taking it every other day.
