WHY OH WHY DO I HAVE THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone.  I still do not have my labs!!!!!!!!  Do yall remember I had my labs drawn about 10 days after my dad died.  My dad passed away on the 30th of January.  I have called the neuro office and they have said they didnot have them yet so I called the hospital in my small rural hospital where I had my labs drawn and they were suppose to fax them to my neuro office well. . .  they faxed them supposedly and I called the neuro office and they said they were coming in slowly.  well    I few weeks went by and I called to ge them to amail them to me and they did not have any labs and they havent called me or anything.

The nurse said she would get some lady to call me about the labs and send me a copy of my mri and I do not know what to do.

I have not felt well lately.  I feel funny like I am twitching in my face and leg and hand and foot.  My eyes are blurry and my head feels funny.  My eye is even more drooped.

What to do.  What do I do?

Small rural hospital??  Make an appointment with the CEO or the highest official you can and go explain the problem.  They will be very chagrined to have to deal with this problem, but I bet they get you your labs!

I was working at a little community hospital in a rural Nevada town when I left practice.

I'd call back after your doctor has come back from spring break to make sure you didn't fall through the cracks.

It doesn't sound right that he doesn't want a follow-up visit.  I'd ask when a next visit should be scheduled because you're having some new problems.

Are you having headaches?  My sister has the droopy eye thing--at first the neuro thought she had a stroke.  Her right side of her body is weak and she has foot drop on the right side.  It turned out to be MS, but that was his thought at first.

Just concerned.

Hey, yall I called the lab here in town and told them I was going to come by and pick up a copy of my labs.  They are all normal.

The doctor office also called and she went over the labs with me. ( the nurse) The doctor was gone for sping break and the nurse says I dont see a follow up appt I guess he dont need to see you.

I told I was not feeling well and that I am twithing in my face and arm and foot.  My head feels like it is jerking real quick.

She said she would mention it to the doctor.

I work for doctors and you need to call the office and TELL them you are coming by at such and such a time to pick up your labs in person.  There is NO excuse for what they have put you through.  With faxes etc there is no reason it should take that long for you to get your results.  Someone dropped the ball big time.  Hope you are treated better in the future.

Hi again,

Here is a hug! {{hug}}

I know, getting a referral seems to be kind of tricky, and stepping out boldly! Is there an MS group near you, can you call them and ask for some handholding? Maybe they can put you in touch with someone!

Take care of your Mom too, you two can support each other during these challenging days. (keeping it positive to "days", no more, right!)

I am so upset today and cry easy.  Thank you all - I will be going that way on Friday to take my mom for her stress test.  I will go by there.  I do not have a ms specialist yet. I do not know how to get appt with him without referral.

I had trouble getting labs back with my last neuro. Its like they forget about me right after I get off the phone.

My neck has been twitching making my head jerk like.

I'd call ahead, tell them I'm on an errand in their area in about an hour, and I will stop by to get them.

As for your symptoms, get to an MS specialist, having added these symptoms to your timeline (keep it current). I'd get on the symptoms quickly, eye issues are nothing to mess with!!

Hope you feel better soon!
