Spinal EMG & MS

On Monday I am having a spinal EMG thinking it is the lower part , what will this test show ? I am having increased inbalance issues, as well as Titinutis and definetly increased in fatigue, it is only 10:30 AM here and I feel like I ran a marathon.  The headaches have gotten so bad I am constantly taking aspirins. We are hoping to finally have some answers on Monday as MS was thrown out there as a possiblitiy.The remebering issues are getting troublesome 1 minute and it's gone, I have to actually concentrate on the arrangements of my address #'s.

I will . Right now I am so tired was up all nite in just gosh awful pain in legs and not normal for left leg to hurt .No sleep maybe sleep thru EMG  don't think so. will be in touch.

Hang in there Rosie.  Just think of it as getting more pieces for that answer puzzle.

Yes, he is a neuro that has ordered this round of testing.I am so afraid that it is gonna be painful .

Welcome to the MS forum.  What type of Dr. ordered this for you? A neuro? I'm so sorry for your balance probs and fatigue.  It's something we all have in common here.

If a Dr. mentioned MS then you should be smack in the middle of a really big work up.  Labs, MRIs, etc.  

If you are able to, please do check out our health pages to read more about the work up for MS.  It's quite extensive.

Hope you like it here w/us, and I wish you well w/your EMG on Monday.  Sorry I'm unable to say what it will show - just not so sure what they are looking for.  TThe test itself I believe has to do with gauging the response of your muscle when signaled by your nerves.  

The Dr. must be looking into something, and I hope it's not painful.  Maybe some others have had this and will let you know more...
