Thank you:o). It's a lot of huge changes all at once, but good ones:o).
I just love the south. I've lived in Ohio, New York and have been in south Georgia for over 8 years. I can hardly wait to get to Tennessee. I didn't want to leave here, but the move we learn about where we'll be living up there and this job hubby got, the more it cements that this is the right thing for all of us. We intend this to be our last move and we're very much looking forward to it in so many ways:o). We'll be closer to our families so we'll see them a little more. The weather is cooler up there in the summer, but doesn't have real winters either...so that's wonderful. Hubby and the kids will get to see a little snow. There's so much to see and do there. Really, it's all exactly what we've hoped for:o). I'm so very glad that it all worked out for us. Now we just have to get all the details taken care of and do the whole selling/buying house thing. We hope to have this property on the market in a couple of weeks. I won't be around on here much until we've settled in at our new home, but do plan to let you all know when I see my neuro for the results of all my tests and his diagnosis. That should be in about 2 weeks.
CONGRATS to you and your family !!!!!! Hope you enjoy living in the south as much as we do. Good Luck on the packing. taks care.
Mike
Thank you all:o). It's all going to be a whirlwind. We're meeting with our new realtor on Tuesday after we get home from my neuropsychological exam. I'm planning to nap on the trip home. She thinks that the timing might be really good because she has buyers that she's working with that are looking for something with the acreage we have. She actually lives in a gated community just down the main road from us. Hubby has to find out how soon before his official exit date from the military that he can leave here. He's going to get that started next week. If he can't take vacation at the end, the kids and I will move ahead of him and he'll burn up his vacation time house hunting, moving us and visiting as often as possible until he joins it. There's so much to do! I probably won't be on here much until things settle down, but I will be sure to let you all know how the neuro psych test goes and what happens when I see my neuro for his verdict:o). Hang in there everyone and stay cool:o).
I am very happy for you. Enjoy your new place and experiences.
Tahiri.

Thank you all:o). He'll be working for the TVA in one of their power plants. We'll be living in east Tennessee. I don't know a whole lot of details yet, but the money, location, hours and schools are what we were hoping for:o). It'll be a few weeks until we get all the details worked out. There's a lot of paperwork and stuff to be done.
Oh, my goodness, I had to close my window here in Michigan with all the whoopin' and hollerin'!
