I have had breastbone pain. I feel that I have Lyme disease and a mycoplasma coinfection. At one point, if I were to pull my shoulders back and raise my head, then stretch just a little more, my breastbone would crack. I have experienced a lot of MS-like symptoms over the years. Could be you're just a Lyme disease suffer caught up in the misdiagnoses roller coaster ride the AMA has going on. A quick look at your profile indicates that may be the situation.
I get pain in my sternum and my esophagus. I think it's the esophagus cramping up - a long drink of water usually fixes it.
Hi Willow,
Welcome back!! We miss you when you're gone!!!
I'm stil undx, and can't tell you if this is from MS or not. I know that MS causes random pain, and I see no reason it couldn't appear in your breast bone. I have lots of pain at times in my collarbone, not fun either.
I think you should tell your dr about this and make sure it isn't something else, though. Better to be sure than take any chances.
Again, I'm glad you came back to see us, hope you will do it more often.
Take care,
doni
