Baclofen dosing/frequency

Hi all, I know there have been a lot of posts on this drug but I am still not sure what I should do.

I started taking Baclofen in August 2014 and my neuro said to start with 5 mg and increase as needed up to 40 mg. He recommended only taking it at bedtime.

My legs seem to do alright with the nightly dose of 5 mg but my arms and hands are still tight throughout the day and if I do much with my arms or hands I get spasms. Nothing major but I figure if I have the Baclofen I should be finding a way to make it work a bit better for me.

That leads me to my question, is there any point in increasing my dosage at night or should I call my neuro and see if I should be trying it throughout the day instead?

Thanks!
Corrie

Call the doctor it might be because other meds you are on. I take Zanaflex at least 4 time a day.

Definitely call your doc before u change any meds. My dose is 10mg,0.5-1 x 3 a day when needed. My legs lock up frequently and won't bend. This seems to help fairly well
