Copaxone Hives

I have been taking 40mg of copaxone for two weeks.  I have noticed that one the days I take it about 6 hours later I feel achy like I have the flu and get a bad headache.  It goes away in an hour or two.  The last shot I took I also started to break out with hives (not at the injection shot).  There were not very many and went away within an hour.  Should I be worried that this is an allergic reaction?  I called the doctor and am waiting on a return call, but my work doesn't allow me to be very accessible and it was Friday.  I am a little nervous about taking the shot tomorrow.  Should I be concerned or is this normal?

The headaches got so bad for me, that I had to stop.  If you're reacting with hives, away from the injection site, you are probably allergic.  I'd seriously stop taking it, and try to get a prescription for prednisone to help with the reaction.

I would call your Shared Solutions nurse.  They will give you the best information.

You can take tomorrow's show wishin 12 hours of the next shot.  Wait, talk to Shared Solutions and follow their recommendations.

Not sure I was clear.  Don't take tomorrow's shot until you've spoken to shared solutions and they have given you the go ahead (or told you to stop).
