constant burning tongue and salt taste

Hi.
Wondering if anyone here with MS, has had the symptom of always having the taste of salt in their mouth. All food that is the least sweet taste awful and most anything else taste like liking a salt block. Also recent burning on the edge and top of my tongue. Can't find a way to relieve the CONSTANT discomfort and loosing my desire to eat.
Thanks, Maggie

Hi Maggie66C,

I don't have the salt taste, but I do have a fairly constant tingling on the tip of my tongue. I also notice that it frequently feels like I've burned the roof of my mouth & my tongue without any known cause. This has been happening for about the last month (the tingling has been coming on for several months).

I have heard of others with taste issues, though. I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with this.

Cheryl
