two years ago i began having symptoms ...FM is what they told...my GP said he did not really believe in it but what ever...months of complaining and most of the Symptoms of MS  I finally got and Internal Med Dr to try and piece everything together...well I after a two year dragathon   go for my MRI my MS MRI.. go figure...my mother had MS and I life in Prime MS COUNTRY...viti D deficiency...low B12   which i am on..made know difference....I get new symptoms all the time...my biggest thing is you have to keep pushing I think to many Doctors ignore patience complaints..Believe it or not my biggest worry is that my MRI comes back Normal ,that my sound stupid but at least I would not what I am dealing with .....my Internal guy thought I had a nero   so he said after we get the results he will refer me to one...I don't know if this is helpful...but know that there are many people in the same boat and this is a good place to vent or throw ideas around...I am new here and i find it very helpful

Hi kimmie,

Thanks JJFL, that's pretty much my opinion also.

I'm sorry you are having so many symptoms bombarding you, kimmie.  I know from experience how overwhelming this can be, and especially being undx.

Take care of yourself and maybe with your tests coming up it will give your neuro more info so that he can make a dx.  I sure hope so.

Hi kimmie069,

First, glad to meet you I am new here to.  Next you need to try and keep yourself calm.Find something that you can do besides worry about your illness and yes I know how difficult that can be.  I also know what happens if you don't.

Yes it is possible to have both and it is not that uncommon when you have one autoimmune problem to have another and FM which MIGHT be one is not impossible to have with MS.  I was told I had FM and I am a guy a lot of Docs use it as a catch all problem if they don't have a clue.

Just so the FM people don't come here and beat me up.  I am not saying FM is not real but that some lazy Docs use it to make their life easier.
