Hi
I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry and Happy Holiday .

I'm a Vermonter replanted in Florida , with out snow ..  Last night I took my elderly mother in the car to look at the city lights , it was sooo beautiful. Many people went all out decorating, homes , bushes , trees , lawns, piers, boats. This is all new for me.  Palm trees were wrapped in blue and red lights. For some reason I especially like blue lights, subtle ,quiet ,mysterious.... aahhh.   Blankets of twinkling stars draped everywhere, to lead the way for Santa . Ornaments of every kind and these new inflated ones ( I think I've been in too long not to know about them)    We drove through the beach districts , windows down , catching the gulf breeze and listening to the soft waves rippling onto the shore  ..  Some communities were out on street corners having little parties , sipping eggnog  and singing Christmas carols . Who needs snow?   I am so glad I made this extra effort for my Mom because in the process I had one of the best times I've had in years.

Mel   Haven't heard much from the land down under . How are you doing?

Hugs and prayers

Jo

Hi there,

No I haven't been on much lately I have to admit. The last two weeks of school I was full time and it was FULL ON!!! Yuk... I got through it all though but am paying for it now. Some days I don't have the energy to get online and check messages, let alone write them, which I apologise for.

My walking is pretty much back to normal, a lot of my symptoms have disappeared, and some are still hanging around. I'm annoyed with the ones that have decided to hang on - mainly memory problems, clumsiness and fatigue. Still, I count my blessings and am hoping that next year I'll be back to full health and can work full time. I really need the money - these doctors bills, ya know?

I had a recent brain MRI with no lesions - looked lovely apparently. Quite frankly I'm over wanting to know what it is. I don't care, as long as I get better. And, yes, I know that's bad because if it DOES turn out to be MS in the future or something similar, I could have been on the preventative meds now, but the likelihood of it now being that is fairly slim apparently.

I'm gearing up ready for the new school year to start, as ours runs from late Jan - mid Dec due to our different seasons. I have a list of my new classes and it's great to finally be excited about it all again - I got really blase about stuff there for a while when I was really sick.

Anyway, hope you're all doing well too! Merry Christmas and don't party too hard!!! heheh
