hi les
a friend of mine was just diagnosed with MS and since she is having a lot of strength problems she found that swiming and water arobics helps her quiet a bit it might be worth the try or to look more into it :) best of luck
Not knowing your personal situation it is a bit hard to offer suggestions that might work for you. I have one that I like that is Women's Health Total Workout in Ten! It is broken into ten minute segments- cardio, upper body, lower body and flexibility/balance. You can pick out the routine that you want to work on or do them all.
It also gives an alternative set of exercises to do, actually demonstrated by one of the women on the dvd, that are not quite as strenuous. It was around $15 on amazon.
I have also seen dvds specific to MS patients' needs. You might want to look at those, too.
The MSAA has online videos that you might find useful - they are available at
http://www.msassociation.org/programs/videos/
under the heading Family/Lifestyle/Meeting the Challenges - you will see "exercise and Multiple Sclerosis." You will find some useful ideas there, too.
Welcome again - I'll look for you around!
be well, be active - Lulu
