Off to my C-Spine MRI

I have my MRI in a little less than an hour. For the past week now I've been waking up with my whole body tingling so I'm getting worse.  I also made an appointment for an assessment Thursday with a specialist chiro. who deals with the cervical spine because I have been reading a lot about people with the same symptoms as me getting treatment and having lots of good come of it.  
I don't know when I will get the results of this MRI.  My next appt. with my new neuro is March 20th I think but he said "unless he calls me sooner".  I guess that means if something shows up on my MRI.  
I have a bony knot in my neck. My husband says it's always been that way and that its not normal but I never really noticed it much until now of course. I am praying that my issues are being caused by a prolapsed disc in my neck that can be fixed!  I have been having some pain in my neck, just under my skull and my shoulder. And my muscles are all tensed in my neck and shoulder too.    I still have not had any treatment for my recent anxiety.  I tried calling my neuro office yesterday but the receptionest apparently could not get me in yesterday and was really no help trying to get me in on an urgent basis so I told her nevermind. I am a pushover really.
So I'm off to this MRI soon.  Prayers would be so appreciated from any who are Christians (I hope this is allowed?)
I didn't like my last MRI... it scared me. I wasn't prepared for the noise it makes. I hope this time wont be as bad since at least I know it will be loud.  I don't think this time is with contrast. But I think it is with a newer machine.

You had what I call Fear Of The Unknown. The mind is a wonderful thing, then again, sometimes the mind drives us crazy. :-)

They just called me... the CD is ready and they are mailing it to me.  Gosh I'm such a spaz.  HUGE sigh of relief... you guys can probably hear it from here.  lol

Hi Honey...well it's all over except for the wait I guess...seems strange to me that they are having you come back for your CD...I would think that they would realize that most people having MRI's have health issues as well...hmmm.  It could be though honey that they are short staffed today or any number of reasons...don't go letting your imagination get the best of you ok?  You have been through enough in the last few weeks...adding stress on to yourself is not going to help things right?

I think you need to go find something to do with yourself for a while to take your mind off of this CD thing...go for a walk or whatever you can to put yourself away from worrying about it ok!

You know we are here for you and we will be waiting here when you get some information.  We are behind you honey and we are keeping a positive attitude for ya ok?

I am SO SORRY that this happened to you.  I had it happen once during one of my dozens of MRI's over the past 12 years.  Sometimes we try so hard to relax and we just fall apart.

I can't believe that they didn't take the 5 minutes to upload the images to the CD while you were there.  That's what they do for me.  I just wait.  It lterally takes them 5 minutes.  I would make sure that you receive what you paid for.  In my case, I have NEVER had to pay for the CD.  

I am glad that you are okay and of course, I am glad that it's over.

Now calm down a little sweetheart...Stuff happens and it happens more than you hear about.

We are with you dear...I'll be waiting to hear about the results of the MRI.

*sigh* don't know how to stop from doing this to myself. But now I'm freaking over why they didn't give me the CD copy.    Anybody else ever have to wait for a copy of their MRI? Please tell me yes.

I'm back. I paid 10 bucks for the CD copy...but they didn't give it to me. Said something about they have to wait until they upload it. That made me nervous. They said I can pick it up maybe tomorrow though.
I was okay until about 30 seconds before it was over and i hit the panic button. I don't know what happened, everything was okay, I was singing a praise song over and over in my head... and then suddenly a rushing feeling in my chest and face, I panicked and hit the button.  Lady said over the speaker that there was only 30 seconds left. I started flailing my legs but I kept my neck and head still.  She came and pulled me out. Broke the table I think because it would not lower down.

Please drop us a post when you get home.  We will be waiting.  See if the radiologist will give you a CD copy of the MRI testing.  I ask for one each time I go for a MRI.

Or maybe I will have contrast. I don't know. It says MRI and it is checked for High Field, PRN, Cervical
