I intermittently have had the feeling of insects walking on the top on my left side of scalp.  I have had my husband look to see if there truly was something there, but nothing was.(thank goodness).

I did bring this up to my neuro once, embarrassed to do so, and she said for me, that is definitely a signal of parathesia and not to worry about it.  It is a really strange sensation.

Hi there,

Oh, I'm sorry your mum is going through this. Since she has MS it's very likely she is experiencing parasthesias - it's very common with MS.

Can she get to the Dr. to confirm if this is parathesias or something else?

If it's from her MS it's the damage in her brain and spine that causes this.

Thanks for joining us.Hope we can help.

Many people complain of itching with MS....but I would be sure she doesn't have something living in her hair...Has she been checked for lice?
