I had 2 week take home foe 2 years Have been in clinic 6 years . I have never had any dirtys made all call backes ,have follow every rule .I went in lakt week and they said my take himes wher gone becase I didn't come in for a cll back . I told them nobody called .I went and got call records which prove thwy had not call .they wouldnt look at them they say the nurse wrote she call I ask for a call log ,they have none ,I havr MS and Lupus both and can barley walk .this also why I was given tke hames . I have even try to talk to owner . What do I do My body is giving out ,I work have 5 kids I can live on 2 hrs sleep . Thia is MI clinic

Well That was the longest month of my life .To most a month is nothing .but this was 7 days/a wk and both my husband and I work and have 5 kids >My MS went into full flare I now have a new lesion on my brain effecting my memory. the worst was I told them my husband who drove me every day or I would go down the day before it was over and I was right ,They kept changing the date I would get them back I was suppose to get them on a mon and sun my husband was not making any sense he was having trouble breathing we were driving and he kept saying we were not getting anywhere and just not all there ,We came home I thought it was exhaustion he said he had to go round on his patient ,I begged him to go to the hospital.He had to see hospice Patient ,he finally while out drove to the ER he had thrown so many clots to his lungs he was breathing with 10% lung function only I almost lost him He said If he died I was to finish those days .The next day i went up to the clinic of coarse they said I couldn't get them back for 5 more days .I lost it .Il almost broke the glass window I had done nothing and now was sick and my husband was going into surgery ina hour. I did get them back when I said he thew clot from all the driving so I better see proof the called me . My husband s heart stop on the table .He said he wasn't going to make it .(That's not my husband ) he never complains .he was scared to death .I almost lost him over that now I have made my MS worse .I am down to 16 now back to going every 2 weeks They saw it nearly killed us both .I call them daily and ask if they want me to come in .I just wrote a question about going from 1 to 0 .will I get sick .I guess after reading about this again It does make me more determined to get the hell out of there ,I just dont want to get sick ,it would speed up the MS damage .I have not felt anything from 140 to 16 so I hope You all will help me stay strong I have never used so that dont worry me it withdrawal .I was lust on a med to long after a surgery

I have went from 178 and am now at 36, They have went slow do to my diseases, I am not judging any one but I was not a drug abuser, I had got pneumonia and was in the hospital 3months  They found after many different antibiotics they found the infection in the lung had made a thick pocket  and the meds could not penetrate into the lung so they said, I had less than a 25%chance of living ,but they were going put a tube in and try to drain this  infection . I woke up with over 250 staples from my chest around to my back up to the middle of the shoulder blades. i was on a pain med to long and had to work so stops and got sick .I was suggested methadone I thought i would be done. My husband in our state can not write for a family member. I am going down so fast I have a fever and have fell so many time .Stress is the worst thing for autoimmune diseases, They are watching me slip away I have legal papers now from a attorney showing no calls and they are keeping me from everyone I cant even see my counselor .My family is going to pieces no thanksgiving no Xmas party. I feel kike My kids grade will suffer we have to take the at 4 they cant be alone I am having to turn my pregnant pts over to my asst. and loose thousands  My kids older 2 say try to go to court ,they would make life  a living hell.

My next appt with the doc is Dec 2 . I have to go in 7 days a week and holidays ,My whole family is suffering from this Im so sick from my MS and Lupus I can't walk I fell down the stairs yesterday ,I work until 11 at night giving me 3 hours to sleep I cant see patience as bad as I am getting ,I can prove they dint call from our phone bill  they wont show me there call log they only say it in the chart . I am almost done detoxing maybe 4 month away  they had to go slow due to my health but I doubt I will make it much longer.They wont let me talk to the doc  or my counselor ,most likely because I can prove they didn't call. Why as sick as I am would I ever do something  to loose my take homes when I have never done anything even forgetting a bottle or missing a appointment ,It was my first time with  this counselor he just was stuck that in all these years I had to have done something, Funny that I all of a sudden I loose take homes.

The thing is I didn't miss a call, Our phone never rang . My husband and I were both on call ( me a midwife ,Husband Dr. I went in and was really sick from the lupus,and just happy to make it that day to get my 2 weeks . They let me pay my 2 weeks and dropped me and I went to the window and the nurse said I have to take your take homes for a missed call back. I said we had received no call, and I showed her my phone log. She said it was in the chart a calls were made to bith our phone . So I went to the phone co. and got legal copys of both phones incoming calss . they wouldn;t look.I am scare it has only been 4 days and I have a fever over 100 and swollen joints ,they hurt so bad I fell down our stairs, today was my birthday and I was so tired and in pain I didn't even Know it . The nurse due to the fact I look like death ,said what the hell am I high on, I said it;s great stuff called Lupus,MS and exhaustion,would you like some. I was so pissed .Having never being dirty I felt insulted .I am contacting a attorney and keeping track of every thing. My kids know to take over in case i pass away the stress is causing my kidneys to fail, I suppose god has a reason ,I just can;t understand why they would do this. I thought they are there to help. They seem to enjoy watching me fade away,

so are they dismissing you from the clinic or just not giving you the take homes?
what dose are you at now?
your husband is a doctor?
can he prescribe you the methadone to help finish your taper?

Thank-you , I feel  just broken. I have been detoxing for a year but with the illness I have they have to go slow, the doctor I would most likely not live through withdrawal.. I dont know if you know about MS and Lupus but It has cost me to have my ribs sawed and one lung removed due pneumonia/ I cant even explain everything it does to your body .I hurt every where somedays I cant walk .I started on this because i was on pain med after my lung was removed and I am a mid wife and I couldn't live on a med that made me so tired,.so I stopped . I didn't do well and my friend worked at a clinic and said ti do 30 days detox . when I went a decade ago I thought i would be well in a month .They put me on 168 mg and I crashed my car 3 times and had a headache so bad and time kept going bye ,they would say that I needed to stable at this dose ..I finally changed clinics. Thinking they would get me off this stuff As my disease prgresed my take home were a bless .I follow every rule and work am writing a book have 5 wonderful kid a husband that is a doc and works Shields 7 days a week to pay for our kids ed .The clinic always looses counselors I had 4 diferant one in the last 6 months. 2 weeks ago I got a new counselor ,He said when was did I use last and I said I had never since being in the clinic and that I never abused my med They just left me on it to long . It was almost like it make the workers made that I follow the rules .He kept trying to find something I did wrong . and couldn't So then he said my chart needed cleaned out that there were to many years of papers.He stated throwing papers out of my chart ,I ask what was into happen with my record he said he was going to shred them . I know at least with my patients shredding parts or a persons chat is not legal .they are filed away and we begin a new chart. He ask me what my detox plan was sine I was never in trouble And I said to get out of the clinic .He said well what about my illness ,that help  and I said staying calm rest and that stress was the worse thing for me thats why my tale homes a so important ..When I came back in 2 weeks the nurse say I have to end your  take homes and I couldn't think ,I just didn't understand they said I disregarded a callback .and all my other all backs they call our home and say this is ,,,, callig for ..... and I have 3 hour to go in and show them my bottles have not been opened. and as a second number is my husband since he is on call every night  I said we had no call and my husband went to our phone company to get a list a legal copy of all incoming calls to both our phones. It showed no calls . They won't let me see the doc ,they won't  look at the phone records I have talked to the owner who said You should have answered your  phone ,and I said how can I answer a phone u that didn't ring ,she just kept repeating the same thing the started telling me that she started the clinic and now has 3 and has a top of the line Mercedes. and that they don't have to show me a phone record.  The nurse wrote she called. I am so upset . I so tired i fell asleep with my finger on the backspace. Please help.

Wow, sorry to hear about that, and can understand the frustration you must be feeling.  They must have some type of plan when people don't show (not saying you didn't) but omg how can they drop someone cold turkey!?  I do know however that when I was on Subs, if you failed to show for a call within 2 hours, they would remove you from the program.  I have no idea what the follow up care would be though.  I would definitely not give up, talk to whoever you can contact!!!  Let us know what happens.

I'm sorry that happened to you.. Clinics, don't you just love them? I would raise hell. Can you call the Dr. that prescribed them to you? They can't just cut you off for missing 1 call, can they? That sounds fishy to me. The only other thing I can think of is go to the ER and explain what happened, see what they say....Good luck and God Bless.

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this. I don't have the answers but I wanted to drop in and encourage you to hang in their because someone will be around soon that does. Its late and slow right now but you WILL get your answers so just hang in and on! Best of luck to you!
