pain in legs

This is not a new symptom for me but it is getting worse and wonder if anyone else experiences this and has any suggestions for relief. I get electrical zapping inside my legs. Feels like a little man is inside there shooting electrical zaps. It is especially bad at night and disrupts sleep. Last night it was so bad my legs r still sore today. I have told my neurologist about it and he always says its part of ms and not much can be done. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for your responses. Guess I will make an attempt at talking to my neurologist regarding this pain again.

Talk to your Neurologist about this. Gabapentin and some of the antiseizure meds can reduce this.  Many MS patients have problems sleeping and problems with their legs/feet at night.

I am sorry I do not have answers for you, but thought I would say hello and get your post back to the front so someone could help you.  I too get the electrical zaps inside my foot and shin. I have not had pain with it the next day though.
Hope someone could help

Pam
