Just a jshort comment about Mayo. My son went there for a second opinion. He already had an MS dx. The doc was cold hearted, curt and busy . He gave my son a "cursory" exam, told him he def had MS, said he would be walking with a cane in a few years and them said another doc would handle him cause he would be in Europe. My son was disgusted, dejected and left town the next morning. It was a HEX diagnosis and not worth anything.
My advice to you is to go to a local MS clinic where you may be able to get assistance and some compassionate medical help. If you are close to the U of MIChigan, they are wonderful there.
That is just one person's opinion. Good luck to you, and hang in.

Thank you for your quick response. It is one of those days where I feel so lonely. Thank goodness for anti-depressants or I would be a complete mess. From what I have heard the Cleveland Clinic is very similar to the Mayo Clinic. I am about to switch over to a different insurance plan, so I have to see if any doctors at the clinic will be covered by the new plan. Anyway, thanks for being there. It is so good to know that someone who can empathize is listening!
Honey, I definately know what you are going through. I was/am in retail as well but I have been on leave since July. Don't try to let this bring you down, I know it is hard and very frustrating. I can definately sympathize with you. Does the Cleveland Clinic have an assistance program? I take it you must be close there but I have been getting the you need to get to the Mayo clinic from my pcp. I know they have a program like that. Is the Cleveland clinic really good? I am here for you if you need to talk.
