I have right foot drop and both legs weakness. When walking my legs jjust want to giveout. If I ddont sit downn they do and I fall
This is how I broke my ankle a year or so ago. My legs gaveout and when I fell there was a loud pop and I knew it was broken.
Sometimes when I overheat they don't work at all and I am paralyzed from the wait down. I have to use my arms to pull myself around. This doesn't happen too often though just when I get an infection or sick due to my body temp rising.
Hope things get better for you. It is not fun, I know. Take care

Hi and welcome to our little MS community,
Hmmmmm i'm not at all sure why this particular issue, would seem weird to a neuro in the first place, a neuro treating you for MS and being unaware of how common an MS issue it is and the why's of it, is what i'm finding more weird!
There are a few different common reasons for why MSers with mobility issues can trip and or fall........'basically' every muscle in your leg needs to work together so your leg functions normally. It's pretty common for one or more of these muscles to be negatively effected by things like spasticity, weakness, fatigue, muscle relaxor meds etc etc
Your right legs failure to support your body whilst walking, could even be from accumulative issues and getting assessed is highly recommended eg foot drop will also place additional strain and fatigues the upper leg muscles more quickly [from the repetition of lifting that foot higher, in order to keep the toes from hitting] and if those upper leg muscles fail and you trip......the forward momentum alone can bring you down and those weakened upper legs muscles will definitely not save you, the leg crumples under you and down you go.
Cheers..........JJ
PS what is the prescribed medication "regret" suppose to be for? (i've never heard of it)
Well, that's weird!! Couldn't resist : ) Have you been to physical therapy? I would have thought that the neuro would at the very least have thought of referring you???? Can you refer yourself??????? I hope you get some help with the falling soon. It can't be fun. Maybe some kind of brace? There are folks here who have talked about falling, maybe they'll come along and help better.
