The last time I had Solumedrol (Dec 09), I was coming down with a virus, unbeknown to me.

My glands were hugely swollen, particularly near my jaw and the back of my neck. Felt like a string of grapes going up both sides of the back of my neck. Hurt to eat or talk, anything that moved my jaw. It was painful.

So, yes I have experienced this, and make sure if you start feeling bad to go see your neuro or PCP.

Hello Binx

Steroids suppress the immune system making one more susceptible to infection. It is very possible that your swollen glands are ar result of your solumedrol infusions.

Hope you feel better soon.
