what does p40 mean on ssep??  the tech wrote those numbers down too, but what are the normal levels??  how much should they vary in each extremity??  I know absent means lesions, but can they be slow or delayed if they are looking for early demyelination??  also, how do they measure myelin on the ssep??

So far as I know, they don't measure myelin on the SSEP, just nerve signals. The signals can be delayed or absent depending on the level of damage.

sorry, I can't help with this one.. have you tried to google ssep results??  

when do you go for your results?  Have you had other tests done as well?  Like a VEP..??
