There is no specific separate blood test you need. You just have to make sure they remember to draw some blood to be sent out along with the CSF from the LP. They will test both CSF and serum for the presence of O-bands and compare the two if bands appear. If they don't have blood drawn from the same time period as collection of the CSF the test for O-bands in the CSF is meaningless (and may not even be done by the lab).
