unexplained falling three times in four month

I am experiencing unexplained falling, no fore warning, unable to react by putting my hand out to protect my face and always falling forward.  I have broken my wrist and bruised both knees, then broke my nose, today I bruised my right eye socket.  no numbness, tingling.  it is like my head is filled with helium or just air as I am not dizzy just cannot feel anything from neck down.  My history includes breast cancer four years ago at 31 yrs.  had lumpectomy, chemo and radiation, since treatment I have had severe neuropathy in my feet and legs, neuropathy is not present when falling occurs.

I have gone though the same thing with my legs giving out and falling down, I now sleep down stairs on the chouch (sp brain fog ) just a part of it all, I know it not funny but it's just a part of it as my spelling is getting bad and I know it, but it's like if I try to do much all I'm doing is hurting myself as I tend to try too do what I use to do but it allway's bit's me in the end and it dose, but even so I'm not DX  with MS I still go though the pain of it all and falling down on my face but Quix is the pro at this and is so helpfull for us to understand more and more of just what we have to deal with as she has been though most of it and is still dealing with MS.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!   Your episodes are VERY concerning and need to be worked up immediately and until an answer is found!  This kind of falling may be fatal if it happens in the wrong place.  Are you still driving?

The first thing that I think of when I read you description is some kind a "atonic" seizure or drop attack.  Atonic means without muscle tone.  You need to see a neurologist immediately and get an MRI of your head and an EEG.  A neurologist would know better what else to order.

Since you posted on an MS site, you must be wondering if this could be the presentation of MS.  That is not impossible, but the more immediate things like I mentioned should be ruled out first.

You now have a black eye.  Make sure a doctor sees it!  Please seek urgent help for these before you fall down a flight of stairs, and then come back and tell us what the neurologist said.  Okay?  I am a physician and I am really serious about this!
