vision problems

Sorry it's been so long since I've been on here.  My hubby had shoulder surgery back in November, and ever since then I've been crazy busy with his pt appts and now with the holidays that just added to the craziness!  I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm wondering about some vision problems that I have just started to have.  On Wednesday, and every day since, I've been having sporadic blurry vision.  I noticed it while reading a book, being online, watching tv, and putting on make up.

I can't pinpoint which eye because it comes and goes so fast.  Each time I've had to stop what I've been doing and close my eyes for a few minutes then it's better. It seems to be both eyes, but I can't say for sure and there is some pain with each episode.

My question is what do I do?  Could this be related to my MS? I only have a very slight prescription for glasses and I don't have to wear them all of the time so I don't believe it's just my eyes getting old and I need a new prescription.

The thing is I'm waiting to see a new neuro because I don't like my current one.  I don't have an appt with the new neuro until mid January...**sighs** I just don't know what to do.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Laura

Thanks Shell.  I was going to call my gp doc on Tuesday anyway for other reasons, so this will just be added to the list!

I hope everyone has a great New Year!

Hi there,

Can you go to your regular doc about it? You def. don't have to wait to see the neuro you don't want to stay with. I think a good MD appt. is definitely in order. If it turns out to be the MS so be it, but at least w/MD lots will be checked including bp, labs if needed, etc.

Don't delay if you can help it. Best to be seen when this stuff is occurring.
Wishing you well for 2012 :)
